DESCRIPTION: Eucalyptus Oil is steam distilled from leaves and twigs of an Evergreen tree that can grow to over 300 ft. and has a characteristic whitish-blue bark and long silver-green leaves. It is a native to Tasmania and New South Wales Australia and was first recorded in 1792. The oil of which was first distilled in 1850’s and was recognized for its medicinal properties. The leaves and oil of the plant has long been a household remedy in Australia. It is also known as “kino” by Aborigines who use it to dress wounds.
The oil has deeply grounding qualities which can help cool heated emotions and best used in places that feels energetically uncomfortable. It may also aid concentration. |
