DESCRIPTION: Geranium is steam distilled from freshly cut young tops of a plant belonging to the plant family Geraniaceae. It is a type of plant with characteristic shapely cut leaves with clusters of small pink flowers. The final aromatic intensity of the oil is largely dependent on the variety and age of the stems and leaves being distilled, and can range from a lemony-rose to a more rose-like aroma. The oil is native to South Africa , with the most prized oil in perfumery comes from Madagascar.
It is best incorporated in blends for fatigue and stress-related conditions.
